Ever Increasing Knowledge

The only way to grow spiritually is to grow in our knowledge and understanding of God's Word. It is His revelation to us. By the Word of God we have communion with our Father. The Holy Spirit only speaks to us through that which has been given to us in God's Word. Increasing in the knowledge of God's Word increases our ability to hear from the Spirit of God and is pleasing to the Father.

Colossians 1: 9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Ephesians 1: 7-9 In whom (Jesus) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace; wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He has purposed in Himself.

Ephesians 1: 15-17 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not of make mention of you in my prayers; that the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Philippians 1:9 And I pray that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all judgment.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that doesn't needs to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Peter 2: 2&3 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of our Lord Jesus Christ. According as His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue.

All that we will ever need to succeed in his life has been given unto us through the exceeding great and precious promises of God. The more that we learn about what is ours as a joint heir with Christ Jesus, the more we will experience the life changing power of God.
