Healing

God has always provided healing for His people. There is no place in scripture where Jesus refused to heal someone. Rather, we see over and over that He healed them all.

Matt. 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils; and he casted out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.

Matt. 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all.

It has been said that their are 39 major classifications of disease, and Jesus received a stripe on His back for each one of them.

1 Peter 2: 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we "were" healed.

Most of us have health insurance and it is important that we are aware of all the benefits that are included so that we can take advantage of what is provided through our coverage. We also have benefits as covenant children of God and it is vital that we be aware of those benefits also.

Psalm 103: 2-3 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgives all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.

3 John 2- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

We need to develope faith by meditating on healing scriptures when we are well. Then when we are confronted with an attack of sickness, we will be able to resist it with the Word of God.

Psalm 107: 20 He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
